iOS Developer – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a skilled iOS Developer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to a high‑traffic platform serving millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug native iOS applications using Swift and Objective‑C.
• Integrate new features and optimise existing functionality for performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with backend teams to define and implement API integrations.
• Maintain code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience building native iOS apps from scratch.
• Strong understanding of iOS frameworks (UIKit, Core Data, SwiftUI).
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and third‑party libraries.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfort working in an agile environment using tools like Jira or Trello.
