IoT Platform & Product Development Engineer

About the role

The IoT Platform & Product Development Engineer will design, build and operate Mobi Egypt’s IoT platforms and digital products. You will turn connectivity into commercial services by creating secure, scalable solutions for smart city, industrial and energy applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IoT platforms covering device, asset and remote management, telemetry, alerts and analytics.
• Design end‑to‑end IoT products such as smart buildings, smart metering, fleet management, industrial IoT and environmental monitoring.
• Implement data ingestion pipelines, storage, stream processing and visualization dashboards.
• Define product road‑maps, gather requirements, write specifications and coordinate testing, releases and commercialization.
• Ensure platform security through identity management, role‑based access, encrypted APIs and compliance with security standards.
• Create user‑friendly web portals, mobile apps and administrative consoles.
• Collaborate with network engineers, embedded developers, data engineers, sales, product managers and customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in software development and IoT platform engineering.
• Proven experience with cloud‑native applications, databases and API development.
• Familiarity with micro‑services architecture and agile project delivery.
