IT Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Engineer to join our Alexandria branch on a full-time, on-site basis. The role involves providing first-level support, managing hardware deployments and maintaining the company’s network and server infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver immediate first-level support for software and hardware issues via phone or remote access.
• Set up and deploy PCs for new employees, including imaging, software installation and hardware replacement.
• Maintain network servers such as file servers and Active Directory.
• Support LAN, WAN, network segments and Internet connectivity.
• Manage and support firewalls and the VoIP system.
• Oversee low-current systems including CCTV, IP cameras and fingerprint access controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• A+ and Network+ certifications or equivalent knowledge.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Server environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage VPNs, managed switches and VoIP solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with Avaya VoIP systems.
