IT Operations Expert

About the role

LEONI, a global provider of products, solutions and services for energy and data management in the automotive industry, is hiring an IT Operations Expert in Nasr City. The role covers the day-to-day management and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, with a focus on reliability, security and service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere), network equipment and end-user devices.
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, File Services and Microsoft 365.
• Monitor system performance, availability, backups and security events, and implement cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection and access management.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot network equipment such as switches, wireless networks and IP telephony.
• Coordinate backup procedures, disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
• Support cloud-based services and hybrid environments, handling incidents, service requests and problems through ITSM processes.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and knowledge base articles, and prepare regular reports on system health, assets and operational KPIs.
• Take part in IT projects, infrastructure upgrades and process improvements, and train end users as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations or system administration.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Required skills

• Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365 administration and VMware vSphere.
• Backup solutions and storage systems.
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, wireless) and hands-on experience with Cisco equipment, IP telephony and Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of ITSM frameworks and ITIL best practices.
