Senior Backend .NET Developer

About the role

BlackStone eIT is looking for a Senior Backend .NET Developer based in Nasr City. The role covers designing, developing and maintaining scalable .NET and ASP.NET Core applications, including microservices, REST APIs and message-based architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable .NET / ASP.NET Core applications and microservices-based architectures.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Implement asynchronous communication with RabbitMQ, including reliability, retries, acknowledgements, dead-letter queues and error handling.
• Write clean, reusable code following Clean Architecture, SOLID and design patterns.
• Work with SQL Server, optimise queries, stored procedures and data access.
• Implement authentication and authorization, and write unit and integration tests.
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyse logs and distributed-system failures.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, business analysts and solution architects, and take part in code reviews.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud/containerised deployments, and monitor application performance and reliability.

Required profile

• Strong experience with C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ and SQL Server.
• Experience with Git and source control; Docker and Kubernetes highly preferred.
• Experience with Azure or another cloud platform is a plus.

Required skills

• RabbitMQ: exchanges, queues, routing keys, acknowledgements, dead-letter queues, retry mechanisms, message durability, publisher/consumer patterns.
• Entity Framework Core / Dapper, dependency injection and middleware.
• SOLID principles and design patterns.
• CI/CD and Azure DevOps preferred; Redis, caching and distributed systems a plus.
