IT Service Desk Specialist

About the role

The IT Service Desk Specialist joins Network International’s IT Department to provide first‑line support for the issuer and acquirer payment systems. Working 24/7, you will monitor live environments, ensure service availability, and act as a key liaison between internal teams and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for IT departments and monitor the live environment around the clock.
• Monitor payment systems (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Diners, CUP) and local gateways, reporting any disconnections, errors or alerts.
• Maintain accurate incident information, track severity, and report impacts on online transaction traffic.
• Support Online and ATM teams in analyzing and investigating transaction issues.
• Follow up on abnormal events affecting the authorization process and monitor batch processors, refresh units, and crypto servers.
• Dispatch and manage Jira cases, prepare weekly ticket aging reports, and ensure system device availability.
• Receive and resolve technical requests from internal and external users via Jira, email or phone.
• Coordinate with second‑level support to achieve proper technical resolutions.

Required profile

• Experience in first‑line IT support within a financial or payment services environment.
• Ability to monitor critical systems 24/7 and respond quickly to incidents.
• Strong communication skills for reporting to internal teams and external client contacts.
• Attention to detail when documenting severity and impact of issues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Jira ticketing system.
• Experience monitoring payment gateways and related transaction systems.
• Familiarity with batch processing, refresh units, and crypto server environments.
