IT Support Senior Specialist

About the role

The IT Support Senior Specialist provides fast and effective technical assistance across computer systems, labs, and classrooms. You will be the first point of contact for users experiencing hardware, software, or network issues and ensure timely resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and applications.
• Serve as the primary contact for users via phone, email, ticketing system, or in‑person.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems.
• Track issues to completion, adhering to agreed timelines.
• Document all incidents and generate regular support and performance reports.
• Assist in user training and produce manuals for IT services.
• Handle location change requests and ensure IT facilities are activated.
• Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal IT divisions as needed.
• Perform additional tasks within the same specialty as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5–10 years of similar IT support experience.
• Very good command of English with strong communication and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Experience using remote assistance and PC cloning applications.
• Solid understanding of basic networking and cable installation.
• Ability to manage printers, scanners, and multifunction devices.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT inventory management.
