IT Support Specialist

About the role

TaskUs is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide Level 1 technical support and basic systems administration for its Contact Center in Cairo. You will work with global IT teams and vendors to maintain and improve core infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support including password resets, desktop/laptop setup, patching, and new‑hire/termination processes.
• Monitor system health, evaluate availability, performance and capacity of assigned services.
• Identify and resolve operational and security issues promptly.
• Participate in enterprise‑wide technical projects and coordinate system upgrades.
• Train peers on system monitoring, routine administration and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience with Active Directory 2012 R2 and Group Policy management is a plus.
• Familiarity with Google Apps and BPO environments is required.
