Jira Administrator – Hybrid (Cairo)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Jira Administrator to join our IT team in Cairo. The role focuses on managing Jira, Jira Service Management and Confluence platforms, ensuring they meet business needs and operate reliably. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable Atlassian solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure and maintain Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM) and Confluence, including Data Center environments.
• Design, customize and optimise workflows, screens, permissions, issue types and automation rules.
• Develop custom solutions using ScriptRunner, JMWE and other Atlassian marketplace apps.
• Create dashboards, reports and analytics with EazyBI to support decision-making.
• Implement system enhancements, change requests and new feature configurations.
• Perform application maintenance, upgrades, patching and monitor platform health.
• Troubleshoot technical incidents and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure best-practice governance, security and administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Jira administration experience, including Jira Data Center.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Preferred certifications: ACP-120, ACP-420, ACP-620, ITIL.
