Junior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our team at ALM – Atef Lamie & Co., a leading accounting and tax firm in Egypt. The role is ideal for fresh graduates who want to gain hands‑on experience in audit, accounting and advisory services. You will work closely with senior accountants and auditors in our Downtown Cairo office.

Key responsibilities

• Assist accountants and senior accountants with daily accounting tasks and office administration.
• Develop accounting objectives, plans and scopes by reviewing information and conducting research.
• Prepare accurate accounting reports and present findings to the team.
• Participate in month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Support audit seniors in consolidation work.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, plans and applicable standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (mandatory).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Good understanding of digital accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero and Zoho.
