Junior Accountant (Outsourced)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. This entry‑level position is ideal for a fresh graduate or early‑career professional who wants to develop solid corporate accounting skills in a structured environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately, perform 3‑way matching with purchase orders and delivery notes, and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
• Record accounts payable transactions in the accounting system in line with IFRS and maintain vendor account reconciliations.
• Support weekly and monthly payment runs and coordinate with banks or treasury for payment execution when required.
• Assist with month‑end closing activities related to accounts payable, including accruals, provisions, expense classification, and cost‑center allocation.
• Maintain organized AP records for audit and internal control purposes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and approval matrices.
• Provide AP schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
• Assist in complying with Egyptian tax regulations, including VAT and withholding tax where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 0–1 years of experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of IFRS and general accounting principles.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS.
• Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics (a plus).
