Junior Bridge Engineer

About the role

e.construct is looking for a Junior Bridge Engineer to support the structural design of bridge projects. You will work under senior engineers, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality bridge solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the structural design of bridge projects, covering concrete, steel, and composite bridges.
• Perform basic structural analyses under supervision, including load calculations, modeling, and design checks.
• Review and validate drawings, models, and calculations to ensure compliance with bridge design codes such as AASHTO, BS, and Eurocodes.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, design briefs, and presentation materials.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, MEP, architectural, construction) to ensure design integration.
• Learn and apply advanced bridge design software and engineering best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 1‑3 years of bridge design experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn from senior engineers.
