Junior Full-Stack Web Developer

About the role

Palm Outsourcing is seeking a Junior Full-Stack Web Developer to join a fast‑growing engineering team. You will work on a multi‑platform system that blends modern web technologies with data‑driven services, delivering scalable digital products in a fully Dockerised environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern React front‑end applications with reusable, performant components.
• Build and enhance Node.js APIs that power core platform functionality and third‑party integrations.
• Create and maintain Python‑based scraping tools and data pipelines to move information reliably between systems.
• Integrate internal and external services, ensuring consistent data flow and clean API contracts.
• Optimise SQL queries and schemas (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for performance, reliability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute fixes to keep services stable.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver well‑documented, maintainable solutions.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript in production environments.
• Proven ability to build complex, interactive front‑ends using React.
• Solid Node.js experience, including RESTful API development and service integration.
• Working knowledge of Docker for local development and production deployments.
• Practical experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar SQL databases and query optimisation.
• Comfortable using Python for automation, scripting and web‑scraping tasks.
• Demonstrated experience connecting services through APIs and clean data contracts.
