Junior Test Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Test Engineer to join our software quality team. In this role you will help ensure our applications meet high standards of functionality and reliability through thorough testing and collaboration with development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, execute and maintain test cases for various software applications.
• Report, document and retest software defects using issue-tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers and senior testers to understand requirements and achieve proper test coverage.
• Participate in functional, regression and integration testing phases.
• Support automation and API testing activities.
• Maintain clear test documentation and results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience creating, executing and reporting test cases.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.
• Proficiency with Postman for API testing.
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar test-management tools.
• Exposure to automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python or JavaScript.
