About the role
Hitachi Rail GTS Egypt is looking for a Junior Test Engineer in Cairo. This is a technical project delivery role responsible for defining, specifying, documenting and delivering test solutions for complex and critical projects in Egypt. The engineer works alongside the Test Manager and ensures that test activities are delivered within the agreed scope, budget and schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Define, specify, document and deliver test solutions for complex and critical projects in Egypt
- Work alongside the Test Manager to ensure test activities meet the agreed scope, budget and schedule
- Listen to and assist on technical matters relating to automated fare collection systems
Required profile
- Able to understand and interpret customer and system requirements
- Familiarity with a web-oriented architecture, including web and mobile applications
- The position is based at the Hitachi Rail platform in Cairo
