Lead Planning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Planning Engineer to drive planning activities for EPC substation projects, ensuring schedules are accurate and project performance is optimized.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the planning team across multiple projects.
• Develop and maintain baseline schedules, project programs, and detailed execution plans.
• Monitor project progress against planned schedules, identify delays, critical activities, and potential risks.
• Prepare progress reports, look‑ahead schedules, recovery plans, and schedule updates.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management teams.
• Review contractor and subcontractor schedules and assess schedule performance.
• Support project teams in developing mitigation and recovery strategies.
• Ensure effective planning, progress measurement, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of planning experience, preferably in substation, infrastructure and EPC projects.
• Strong leadership, communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
