Learning Support Assistant (Foundation Stage)

About the role

Egypt Education Platform is hiring a Learning Support Assistant (co-teacher) for the Foundation Stage at Westview International Language School in 6th of October City. The role suits people passionate about early childhood education who want to support young learners in a collaborative classroom setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in delivering engaging, age-appropriate educational activities that promote holistic development in young children.
• Work alongside the lead teacher to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
• Support children in structured activities and free play, encouraging social interaction and cognitive growth.
• Help identify and address individual learning needs, giving tailored support so every child can thrive.
• Maintain communication with parents and caregivers about student progress and development.
• Take part in professional development to improve teaching strategies and support practices.
• Help with classroom management, prepare resources and keep the learning space organised.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, teachers and parents.
• A genuine passion for the growth and development of young learners.
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and diverse classroom needs.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in keeping the classroom safe and engaging.
