Lifeguard (Egyptian candidates only)

About the role

The hotel is seeking a qualified Lifeguard to ensure the safety and security of guests at its pool and beach areas. The role requires active certification, strong emergency response skills, and the ability to manage water‑sports activities in a hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor designated swimming areas (pool and beach) during business hours and enforce safety rules.
• Maintain and operate lifesaving equipment, including flotation devices, rescue surfboards, and rescue boats.
• Perform artificial respiration, CPR, and first‑aid interventions as needed.
• Set up safety signage, flags, and post relevant information (depth, temperature, wind conditions).
• Prevent unauthorized engine‑driven vessels, windsurfers, and sea‑bikes from entering swimming zones.
• Log and supervise water‑sports activities, ensuring they occur in designated areas.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate rescue operations.
• Adhere to hotel policies on fire, hygiene, health, and safety, and report hazards immediately.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a similar lifeguard role.
• Graduated from a Faculty of Physical Education.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.

Required skills

• Lifeguard certification from a recognized international association (active status).
• CPR certification.
• First‑Aid certification.
• Rescue boat operation.
