Lifeguard – Hotel Pool & Beach

About the role

The Lifeguard will ensure the safety of guests at the hotel’s pool and private beach in Sharm El Sheikh. This role involves vigilant monitoring, rapid response to emergencies, and maintaining up‑to‑date safety signage.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor pool and beach areas to prevent drowning incidents.
• Maintain and update all safety signs within the assigned zones.
• Hold a valid governmental Lifeguard certificate and keep it renewed.
• Prepare and submit hazard reports to management during each shift.
• Provide first‑aid assistance and manage drowning emergencies.
• Assist in other hotel areas as needed and follow any additional tasks assigned by management.
• Support hotel health, safety, hygiene, and environmental policies, including waste reduction and energy‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum high school or vocational diploma.
• At least 2 years of lifeguarding experience in a hotel or resort setting.
• Fluent in English and Arabic for effective communication with guests and staff.
• Professional training and certification in lifeguarding and first aid.
