Localization Vendor Coordinator (Hybrid)

About the role

The Localization Vendor Coordinator supports the delivery of multilingual projects by building and managing a network of external language resources. Working closely with project managers and finance, you will ensure the right talent is available, qualified, and contracted to meet client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, select, and develop external linguists and specialized vendors.
• Maintain and expand multilingual resource databases aligned with budget and vertical requirements.
• Communicate project requests and feedback with the PM team and provide status updates.
• Define resource requirements, design test procedures, and evaluate work samples.
• Support tender and quotation processes by supplying qualified resources.
• Negotiate terms, set up contracts, and coordinate payments with the Finance team.
• Monitor vendor integration, availability, and performance, acting as the escalation point.
• Build partnerships with vendors, professional organizations, and universities to foster talent pipelines.

Required profile

• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in languages or translation).
• At least 6 months experience in the localization field (a plus).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and time‑management abilities.
• Proactive attitude with effective interpersonal and negotiation skills.
