Low Current Senior Engineer

About the role

The Low Current Senior Engineer will lead the design, execution, and supervision of ELV (extra‑low voltage) systems across complex projects. You will ensure that CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS, audio, Wi‑Fi and fiber‑optic solutions meet performance, safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of low‑current/ELV systems including CCTV, access control, intercom, fire alarm, BMS, sound, Wi‑Fi and fiber optics.
• Supervise on‑site activities such as installation, testing, commissioning and quality inspections.
• Review and approve shop drawings, as‑built drawings, material submittals and Bills of Quantities.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and training.
• Prepare technical documentation, progress reports and project updates.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (NFPA, BS, EN) and local codes.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to improve system performance and cost‑efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Communication Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in low‑current/ELV system design and execution.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (NFPA, BS, EN, etc.).
• Proven experience in site supervision, testing and commissioning of ELV installations.
