Machine Learning Software Engineer

About the role

Advansys is hiring a Machine Learning Software Engineer in Nasr City on a hybrid basis. The role leads the full ML lifecycle, from data collection and analysis to model deployment, monitoring and optimization, and works closely with data scientists, data engineers and product managers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the entire ML lifecycle, from data collection and analysis to deployment, monitoring and optimization.
• Apply deep learning and NLP techniques, potentially improving search or recommendation systems.
• Design and implement end-to-end ML pipelines with MLOps best practices, including CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud deployment on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Use LLM knowledge, including prompt engineering and fine-tuning, to build generative AI and conversational AI applications.
• Perform data analytics, including statistical analysis and feature engineering, to inform model development.
• Write production-quality, robust code in Python (and possibly Java or Scala), reviewed and tested.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business requirements into technical ML solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer with a strong portfolio of deployed production models.
• Expertise in data science methodologies, statistical analysis and data analytics.
• Solid software engineering background with knowledge of data structures, algorithms and system design.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch and scikit-learn.
• MLOps tools and practices for managing the ML application lifecycle.
• NLP and hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
