Maintenance Manager – October Plant

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead production and warehousing operation maintenance and engineering activities at PepsiCo’s October Plant. The role ensures that all production and facility assets are properly maintained, operational, and aligned with production requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute the departmental budget covering staffing, spares, consumables, major equipment overhauls and new initiatives.
• Analyze maintenance function priorities and set goals to deliver the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Ensure efficient upkeep of buildings, grounds, service and production equipment.
• Develop and enforce control procedures such as work orders, work schedules, equipment listings and machinery documentation.
• Institute an effective preventive maintenance program to support efficient production within cost targets.
• Consult with production personnel to determine equipment operating and maintenance needs.
• Oversee major asset upgrades, expansions and new installations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical ability to prioritize maintenance activities and align them with business objectives.
• Experience budgeting for maintenance, spares and major equipment projects.
• Ability to collaborate with production teams to identify and address equipment needs.
