Manager City Logistics Operations

About the role

Talabat is seeking a Manager City Logistics Operations to lead daily logistics activities within an assigned cluster. You will be responsible for optimizing the full order cycle, ensuring rider safety, and driving the overall rider experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and solve all daily logistics‑related operations.
• Initiate, lead and optimise the full order cycle for the assigned cluster.
• Manage communication with external suppliers.
• Supervise and coach rider supervisors and rider trainers.
• Develop SOPs, policies and tools to ensure rider safety and compliance.
• Provide on‑ground support for marketing campaigns across all brand entities.
• Monitor and improve city rider experience and satisfaction scores.
• Report weekly project and performance updates to country management.
• Achieve cluster acquisition targets and monitor logistics SLA in coordination with the acquisition team.
• Manage supplier performance and oversee operational zone setup and special projects with the country logistics head.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5‑7 years of experience in the food or grocery tech industry (preferred).
• Extensive experience in data analytics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• People‑management experience leading large teams.
• Stakeholder‑management experience with cross‑cultural and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to analyse data, derive insights and work under pressure.
