Manager Rider Acquisition & Partnerships

About the role

Talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is hiring a Manager Rider Acquisition & Partnerships in Maadi. The role builds and maintains relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) partners across the country, supports rider onboarding and training, and works to improve rider performance, retention and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and partially own strong relationships with all 3PL partners across the country, sharing data so that directions and performance improvements can be made
• Create incentives and penalties for 3rd parties to improve rider performance, while ensuring rider safety and wellbeing are a top priority
• Act as the voice of the 3rd party: listen to their challenges and find solutions with the internal team, and ensure 3PL compliance with Talabat rules
• Design learning courses, training programs and workshops for riders on internal SOPs and new features or policies, and document all training activities
• Lead the onboarding of new riders and the reboarding of existing ones, and build training SOPs and metrics to measure performance and compliance
• Run rider engagement activities and focused group discussions to understand rider pain points, and assess training effectiveness through surveys and feedback
• Groom rider quality (behaviour, appearance, professionalism, presentation) and set up performance improvement plans for low-performing riders
• Reduce rider complaints coming from customers

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Preferably 2+ years of work experience in high-growth startups, tech companies, consulting or investment banking
• A doer and free thinker who adapts to change and questions the status quo when needed
• Team player who fits the company culture and has a results-driven attitude
