Master Planning Architect

About the role

QP Capital is seeking an Architect with strong master‑planning expertise to shape large‑scale, high‑impact developments from early vision through concept design and planning submissions. You will work across multidisciplinary teams to translate strategic intent into clear, buildable spatial frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to master‑plan and urban‑design concepts for mixed‑use, hospitality, residential and large‑scale projects.
• Develop site analysis, constraints mapping, planning strategies, phasing concepts and land‑use frameworks.
• Produce high‑quality diagrams, layouts, massing studies, design narratives and presentation decks.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders such as engineering, landscape, mobility, cost, planning consultants and clients.
• Support feasibility studies including density, GFA, unit mix, circulation, access, servicing and infrastructure considerations.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred) and professional registration preferred.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in master planning and early‑stage concept design.
• Strong design thinking, confident communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Excellent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency in SketchUp and/or Rhino.
• Experience with Revit, GIS and parametric or analytical tools.
• Ability to produce compelling diagrams, vision plans and narrative‑driven presentations.
