Material Planner Engineer – Raw & Packaging

About the role

We are seeking a Material Planner Engineer to manage raw material, packaging material and finished‑goods planning for a leading multinational FMCG manufacturer. The role ensures seamless coordination between production, warehouse and logistics to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate material flow between production, warehouse, logistics, suppliers and customers.
• Maintain and optimise inventory levels for raw materials, packaging and finished goods.
• Conduct regular supply‑demand reviews and MRP planning meetings.
• Monitor material and capacity availability, and resolve supply issues.
• Control inventory costs, reduce obsolescence and improve service levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in material or supply planning within FMCG or chemicals.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP (mandatory).
• Solid knowledge of MRP, production planning and inventory management.
• Understanding of safety stock, MOQ, lead time and inventory optimisation.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis abilities.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
