Mechanical Lead – Production Maintenance

About the role

The Mechanical Lead is responsible for overseeing mechanical maintenance on production lines, ensuring machines operate efficiently and meet Coca‑Cola International and ISO standards. The role focuses on reducing downtime, optimizing energy consumption, and supporting continuous production according to the plan.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor the annual overhaul plan, verify machine parts, install spare parts, and coordinate with external maintenance providers.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to improve energy efficiency and machine performance.
• Perform routine maintenance to rationalize electricity, water, and overall energy use.
• Oversee daily mechanical maintenance activities, address corrective actions, and respond to unexpected mechanical failures.
• Generate daily technical reports on machine performance, malfunctions, and required maintenance.
• Track spare‑part inventory, place purchase orders, receive and test new parts, and manage consumable disposals.
• Apply environmental, safety, and occupational health programs and adhere to standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred, demonstrated by a major improvement project.
• 5+ years of FMCG operations maintenance experience preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with equipment such as Krones or Sidel lines is a plus.
