Medical Information Associate (MEA)

About the role

Amgen is seeking a Medical Information Associate to support the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. You will respond to medical inquiries, manage literature searches, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while delivering high‑quality information to healthcare professionals and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to medical inquiries from multiple channels, perform literature searches, and triage adverse events or product complaints.
• Document all inquiries in the Amgen Medical Information database and ensure audit readiness.
• Facilitate expanded access requests and support patient/HCP interactions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product and therapeutic area knowledge, adapting content to regional requirements.
• Report trends and insights for assigned products and contribute to regional projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners and support training initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical information or a comparable pharmaceutical setting.
• Advanced written and verbal English; French fluency is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Scientific literature searching and critical appraisal of clinical studies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
• Experience using Salesforce or similar database systems.
