About the role

The Egyptian Institution for Electrical Transformers is expanding its renewable energy portfolio and seeks a Renewable Energy Engineer to design, implement and optimise solar and wind projects. You will work on cutting‑edge technologies while supporting Egypt’s national strategy for clean energy.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop solar and wind energy systems tailored to project requirements.
• Supervise on‑site execution, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
• Monitor system performance, analyse data and propose efficiency improvements.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, feasibility studies and progress reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and internal project teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power or Energy Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy projects.
• Proven expertise in solar and/or wind energy system design, execution and operation.
• Proficiency with relevant engineering software.
• Ability to produce technical reports and feasibility analyses.
• Experience in site/project execution is an advantage.
