Mid-Level Kotlin & React Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Palm Outsourcing is seeking a Mid‑Level Kotlin Engineer to join a client’s modern booking platform. You will work remotely on a live Kotlin and React codebase, delivering new features and maintaining existing functionality while shaping the product’s technical roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the Kotlin and React codebase, including the Ktor API and booking flow.
• Identify, debug, and resolve platform issues with well‑considered solutions.
• Develop new features independently from team briefs.
• Propose and implement automation improvements to reduce manual tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to define realistic goals, timelines, and priorities for platform evolution.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with Kotlin in a production environment.
• Strong commercial experience building and maintaining React applications.
• Familiarity with Ktor or similar Kotlin‑based API frameworks.
• Solid understanding of clean code, scalability, and maintainability.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
