Mini Bar Supervisor

About the role

Kempinski is looking for a Mini Bar Supervisor in Cairo to serve food and beverages to guests in the assigned rooms and suites. The role provides courteous, professional and efficient service consistent with hotel standards and Kempinski's values, while encouraging sales and maximising guest satisfaction. It reports to the Assistant Room Service Manager and Room Service Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Serve all mini-bars in hotel rooms and suites, with correct service procedures and communication between the Room Service team and guest relations.
• Stock take mini-bar items, check expiry dates and product quality regularly, and post correct accounting of items and consumption in the guest folio.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, monitor operating supplies and equipment and reduce spoilage and wastage.
• Keep the workplace and surroundings clean and organised, and handle guest enquiries courteously, reporting complaints and feedback to supervisors and following up.
• Operate the POS system according to the assigned training level and assist in scheduled inventories of products and equipment.
• Adhere to hotel policies on fire, hygiene, health and safety, attend staff meetings and trainings, and carry out reasonable additional duties assigned by the Department Head.

Required profile

• Egyptian nationality.
• High school or university graduate.
• Two to three years of experience in a customer service position, including five-star hotel experience.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
