Mobile Lead Developer – Flutter (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Mobile Lead Developer with deep expertise in Flutter to drive the creation of modern, scalable cross‑platform applications for iOS and Android. This remote position blends hands‑on coding with leadership, ensuring high‑quality, performant, and secure mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of Flutter‑based mobile apps for iOS and Android.
• Define and enforce architecture, state‑management patterns, coding standards, and best practices.
• Mentor and manage a team of mobile engineers, fostering growth and performance.
• Collaborate with UX/UI, Product, Backend, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Drive adoption of a shared component library and consistent design language.
• Own runtime theming, configuration, and branding without code forks.
• Ensure accessibility compliance on both platforms.
• Maintain mobile security posture: secure storage, certificate pinning, biometric authentication, root/jailbreak detection, and safe token handling.
• Integrate with backend REST APIs and OAuth2/OpenID Connect flows.
• Optimize performance, startup time, rendering, battery, and network efficiency.
• Manage end‑to‑end release process: build pipelines, code signing, App Store & Google Play submission, phased rollout, and crash monitoring.
• Oversee code reviews, technical decisions, and QA processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of mobile development experience, including 2–3 years in a lead role.
• Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart, with willingness to work with React Native/TypeScript if needed.
• Proven track record shipping production apps on both App Store and Google Play.
• Working knowledge of native iOS and Android platforms for platform channels, native modules, Xcode, and Gradle configuration.
