M&R Engineer – Maintenance & Reliability

About the role

Join Mondelēz International as an M&R Engineer and lead the planning, development, and implementation of maintenance strategies in a continuous‑improvement manufacturing environment. You will work closely with line leaders, technical teams, and contractors to ensure equipment reliability and process stability.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with line leaders to achieve SQCDSM targets (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability & Morale).
• Own technology, process settings, and progressive maintenance systems for assigned lines.
• Manage the Repairs & Maintenance budget and develop preventive and time‑based maintenance plans.
• Build technical and maintenance capabilities of shift technicians, spending at least 50% of time on skill development.
• Lead PM pillar activities, represent the site in regional and global technology forums, and collaborate with Asset & Reliability teams on special tasks.
• Drive change management, spare part localization, breakdown analysis, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for a component category and provide PM training across the plant.

Required profile

• Strong desire to advance a career in manufacturing maintenance and reliability.
• Advanced knowledge of Autonomous Maintenance (Step 4) and Progressive Maintenance (Step 3) standards.
• Proven ability to lead line‑level maintenance roles, coach SWP owners, and apply PDCA methodology.
• Capability to act as a line leader, aligning teams around common improvement opportunities.
