MRP Project Team Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MRP Project Team Manager to lead the transformation of supply planning and material requirements planning (MRP) capabilities within SAP‑driven environments. The role will standardise planning processes, improve accuracy and drive digital initiatives to maximise the value of SAP planning solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end MRP transformation initiatives across supply planning functions.
• Design, standardise and optimise MRP processes in SAP to enhance planning efficiency and inventory performance.
• Drive SAP planning enhancements, process harmonisation and system adoption across business units.
• Collaborate with supply planning, manufacturing, procurement, logistics and IT teams to define and implement future‑state planning capabilities.
• Assess current processes, identify improvement opportunities and deliver sustainable transformation roadmaps.
• Lead SAP MRP configuration discussions, gather business requirements, oversee testing and support deployment activities.
• Ensure master data integrity and governance for effective MRP execution.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor planning effectiveness, service levels, inventory and stability.
• Manage change‑management activities, user training and business adoption throughout the programme.
• Promote continuous improvement using industry best practices in supply planning and digital transformation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in supply chain planning with hands‑on MRP and supply planning expertise.
• Proven track record of leading SAP‑based supply planning or MRP transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA planning capabilities.
• Solid understanding of material requirements planning, production planning, inventory management and master data.
• Experience working in cross‑functional and global environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, APICS CPIM, CSCP or SAP are a strong advantage.
