Production Planning & Scheduling Assistant Analyst

About the role

The Production Planning & Scheduling Assistant Analyst will develop and execute supply plans to ensure the right products are available at the right time and in the right quantities while keeping inventory levels optimal. The role requires close collaboration with Procurement, Production, Logistics, Sales and Demand Planning teams to address supply constraints and support business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, inventory levels and business requirements.
• Monitor inventory positions, identify shortages or excess stock, and flag supply risks.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align supply with demand and adjust plans as capacity, lead times or material availability change.
• Manage material and product availability to meet customer and operational needs.
• Identify supply constraints and create mitigation plans to minimise disruptions.
• Track key KPIs such as service level, stock availability and forecast‑plan adherence.
• Support the S&OP/IBP process with capacity analysis and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 0‑2 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management or related supply‑chain functions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
