Murabbi Facilitator – Student Moral & Spiritual Development

About the role

The Murabbi Facilitator joins Alexandria Language Schools to nurture students' moral, social and spiritual growth. Working full‑time on‑site, you will create a supportive environment that encourages ethical behaviour and personal responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and lead structured sessions, workshops and discussions that promote character development and values education.
• Mentor individual students and small groups, providing guidance and feedback on personal growth.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leadership to embed value‑based learning across the curriculum.
• Engage families and guardians when appropriate to reinforce student development at home.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records and prepare concise reports on engagement and outcomes.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional‑development activities and school events to align with ALS’s mission.

Required profile

• Strong mentoring, counseling and facilitation skills focused on values and character development.
• Ability to design age‑appropriate activities, workshops and programs supporting social, emotional and ethical learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for working with diverse students, families and staff.
• Organizational and time‑management competence for planning sessions and maintaining records.
• Knowledge of educational principles and child or adolescent development; prior experience in education or youth programs preferred.
• Demonstrated integrity, empathy, cultural sensitivity and commitment to an inclusive school environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Islamic Studies or related field is beneficial; facilitation or counseling training is an advantage.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Egypt and participate in school events.
