About the role

Westview International Language School is looking for a dedicated Music Teacher for the Academic Year 2026-2027. The position is based on site at the school and offers the chance to inspire students and foster a love of music within a supportive educational community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive music lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
• Teach music theory, instrumental and vocal techniques and encourage creativity through individual and group performances.
• Organize and take part in school concerts, recitals and other musical events.
• Assess student progress and give constructive feedback.
• Work with colleagues to bring music into other subjects and school activities.
• Maintain an engaging, inclusive classroom and keep up with developments in music education through professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music Performance or a related field.
• A valid teaching certification; prior teaching experience is preferred.
• Ability to design creative lesson plans for diverse learners.
• Strong communication skills with students, parents and staff.
• Willingness to help with extracurricular music activities and school events.

Required skills

• Proficiency in several musical instruments.
• Strong grasp of music theory.
