On-Ground Coordinator

About the role

The On‑Ground Coordinator ensures smooth daily delivery operations within assigned zones, overseeing Delivery Associates (DAs) and handling on‑site challenges. The role focuses on performance monitoring, vendor issue resolution, and compliance with service‑level standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations, confirming DA readiness and tracking metrics such as attendance, login rates, acceptance, on‑time pickup and delivery completion.
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, including vendor delays, traffic problems, and app issues.
• Conduct pre‑shift checks for appearance, equipment and app readiness; perform spot audits to enforce safety and conduct guidelines.
• Act as first point of contact for DA issues (device, vehicle failures, order disputes) and coordinate rapid resolutions.
• Log, investigate and resolve vendor complaints within SLA, collaborating with Vendor Operations to prevent recurrence.
• Validate delivery assignments, support dispatching, and adjust routes in real time during peak periods.
• Maintain daily logs of attendance, incidents, vendor tickets and compliance checks; prepare end‑of‑day and weekly performance summaries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics, delivery operations or last‑mile coordination, preferably in FMCG or e‑commerce.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to respond quickly to on‑ground challenges.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; proactive and adaptable team player.
