OpenShift System Administrator (6-9 years experience)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced OpenShift System Administrator to join our Operations team in Egypt. The role involves estimating, planning, setting up, monitoring and troubleshooting OpenShift environments across development, staging and production. You will also evaluate new technologies and help integrate them into our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install, patch, upgrade and migrate OpenShift (4.x) clusters.
• Configure ingress controllers, SSL certificates, load balancers, storage solutions and container registries.
• Integrate OpenShift with identity management, vaults and IBM Cloud Pak for Integration.
• Monitor clusters using Prometheus, Grafana and logging stacks such as EFK.
• Maintain OpenShift Data Foundation and manage POD scaling and resources.
• Provide on‑call support and handle tickets in line with SLAs and ITIL processes.
• Maintain lab environments for technical assessments, SDN/NFV PoC testing and documentation.

Required profile

• 6‑9 years of hands‑on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix system administration (RHEL).
• Experience working in an operations team with on‑call duties.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
