Part-time Remote Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

This part‑time remote position focuses on ensuring reliable, secure and high‑performing systems for client environments. You will monitor system health, respond to incidents and drive root‑cause analysis to improve resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor system health and performance across client infrastructures.
• Respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system resilience.
• Automate operational tasks and refine deployment and monitoring processes.
• Contribute to documentation, capacity planning and continuous improvement of cloud‑based services.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering practices, focusing on reliability, scalability and performance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex system, application and network issues.
• Background in system administration on Linux or Windows environments with scripting and configuration management.
• Hands‑on experience designing and managing infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch) and incident management processes.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
