Patient Care Coordinator – Medical Office Support

About the role

We are seeking a fluent English‑speaking Patient Care Coordinator to join our medical support team in Alexandria. Working on a fixed Monday‑Friday schedule that aligns with U.S. business hours, you will act as the primary point of contact for patients, helping them navigate their care without any sales pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound and outbound patient calls with professionalism and empathy.
• Conduct monthly check‑ins with patients who have chronic conditions, reviewing treatment plans and medication adherence.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, perform patient intake, and update records in EHR/EMR systems.
• Follow up on labs, referrals, and prescriptions.
• Assist with insurance verification and authorizations.
• Document all interactions accurately in the practice management system.

Required profile

• Fluent in spoken and written English; will communicate exclusively with U.S. patients.
• Resident of Alexandria, Egypt and able to work the 3:30 PM – 12:30 AM Egypt shift.
• Experience as a virtual medical assistant or similar patient‑facing role is a plus.
• Medical‑related education (nursing, pharmacy, medicine, or health diploma) is preferred but not mandatory.
