Patient Care Coordinator / Pharmacist – Egypt

About the role

The Patient Care Coordinator / Pharmacist supports and manages Patient Support Programs, ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate assistance throughout their treatment journey. The role acts as a trusted advocate, removing barriers to care and expanding access to medical benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the line manager and program team in managing Patient Support Programs and liaise with key stakeholders.
• Ensure timely enrollment of eligible patients according to workflow and program timelines.
• Educate and coordinate with patients for seamless enrollment and medication delivery.
• Maintain accurate patient files and electronic records, preparing regular performance reports.
• Accompany team members on visits to healthcare providers, pharmacies, or support sites.
• Report adverse events or product complaints in line with client requirements and Axios SOPs.
• Perform administrative duties and use Axios’ Patient Management System for all program activities.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in a medical, pharmacy, or social‑work field.
• 0–1 year experience in healthcare, scientific field or NGO; customer‑service experience preferred.
• Experience in data monitoring and management is an advantage.
• Experience coordinating logistics or supply‑chain activities is a plus.
• Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Axios’ Patient Management System (PMS).
• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance reporting procedures.
