Pharmacovigilance Manager

About the role

Kinetic is recruiting, on behalf of a leading pharmaceutical company, a Pharmacovigilance Manager for its team in Egypt. Applicants must have proven work experience in the country where the role is based; candidates who have relocated within the last 12 months will not be considered. Key responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of medicinal products and compliance with pharmacovigilance guidelines.
• Provide high-quality, balanced and timely medical information to internal and external customers.
• Review promotional material for adherence to advertising regulations and medical accuracy.
• Report serious adverse events, serious and non-serious suspected adverse drug reactions and other reportable safety cases in line with local requirements.
• Act as the regional point of contact for pharmacovigilance matters and support local PV representatives and responsible persons.
• Take part in cross-functional projects with Regulatory, Sales and Marketing and Medical Affairs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or life sciences.
• At least 5 years of relevant pharma experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations, ICH guidelines, GVP requirements and country-specific reporting obligations across the Middle East.
• Native Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills.
• Experience with safety databases, case-management systems, electronic reporting, reconciliation and compliance dashboards.
• Understanding of PV quality systems, SOP management, deviations, CAPAs, audit readiness and inspection preparation.
• Familiarity with data privacy requirements and secure handling of patient safety information.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and availability for face-to-face interviews in Egypt.
