Philosophy Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

About the role

This contract position is focused on leading quality assurance for philosophy‑focused AI training projects. Working remotely, you will ensure that AI‑generated philosophical content meets rigorous conceptual, logical, and contextual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across philosophy data projects.
• Review AI‑generated philosophy content and trainer/QA work against detailed rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback on argument structure, logical validity, nuance, formatting, and instruction‑following.
• Identify recurring quality issues and communicate updates to trainers and QA teams.
• Support onboarding of new contributors, maintain documentation, and reactivate inconsistent contributors.
• Collaborate with remote expert teams to manage quality workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Philosophy, Ethics, Logic, Political Theory, Humanities, Religious Studies, Classics, Cognitive Science, or a closely related field.
• Strong command of English for written feedback and communication.
• 3+ years of experience in philosophy research, teaching, writing, editing, academic or ethics review, or related humanities workflows.
• Deep understanding of philosophical methods, logic, argument analysis, and major sub‑fields (e.g., epistemology, metaphysics, political philosophy).
• Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and spot issues such as straw‑man arguments, invalid inference, or misrepresentation of philosophers’ views.
