Planning Specialist – Production & Inventory Planning

About the role

The Planning Specialist will join Rayahen Roastery’s production team in Giza to develop and maintain production and inventory plans that meet customer demand while controlling costs. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with procurement, manufacturing, finance and customer service to ensure seamless alignment of supply and demand.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales forecasts and historical data to create accurate production and inventory plans.
• Monitor stock levels, adjust plans in response to demand changes, and coordinate with procurement and production teams.
• Prepare regular planning reports and track key performance indicators such as inventory turnover and service level.
• Collaborate with finance to align plans with budgetary constraints and cost targets.
• Communicate timelines to cross‑functional stakeholders and resolve planning‑related issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant experience in supply chain, production planning or operations, preferably within food or FMCG industries.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of finance and customer service considerations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with planning or ERP tools.
