Plant Performance & Sustainability Manager

About the role

The Plant Performance & Sustainability Manager will oversee the operational excellence of PepsiCo’s Giza plant, as well as the CFI Assuit and Tanash facilities. The role is responsible for driving top‑line and bottom‑line results while embedding PepsiCo’s Pep+ sustainability agenda across all key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily plant performance to keep all KPIs on track, including productivity, equipment efficiency, cost and environmental metrics.
• Analyse KPI trends, identify improvement opportunities and prepare weekly and monthly scorecards for plant teams and regional management.
• Review manufacturing overhead costs on a weekly basis, flag deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain the Annual Operating Plan for plant KPIs, assessing performance across equipment efficiency, productivity and cost dimensions.
• Lead productivity ideation projects and implement PepsiCo best‑practice tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure continuous learning and development of employees in lean improvement methodologies and effective communication techniques.
• Coach and support staff to adopt lean tools, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in manufacturing performance management within a large‑scale food and beverage environment.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret KPI data and drive data‑based decisions.
• Demonstrated capability to lead productivity projects and apply lean improvement tools.
• Excellent communication skills to prepare and present performance scorecards to senior leadership.
