PMO Manager

About the role

Sabbour Consulting is seeking an experienced PMO Manager to establish, lead, and continuously improve its Project Management Office. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while aligning with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the PMO, implementing project management standards, methodologies, and governance processes.
• Oversee planning, monitoring, and control of multiple projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality compliance.
• Develop and maintain PMO frameworks, procedures, templates, and reporting systems.
• Monitor performance through KPIs, dashboards, and progress reports, providing insights to senior management and clients.
• Validate project schedules, cost plans, and resource allocations.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and change processes across the portfolio.
• Coordinate communication among project managers, directors, technical teams, and stakeholders.
• Prepare executive reports, performance summaries, and portfolio analyses.
• Mentor PMO staff and project controls teams, fostering capability development.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery performance and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• 12–18 years of experience in project management, project controls, or PMO roles within engineering consulting.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary project teams and PMO staff.
• Professional certification such as PMP, PgMP or PRINCE2 strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
