Power Platform Solution Architect (Remote)

About the role

DeepSource Technologies is looking for an experienced external Solution Architect to act as the architecture lead for defined initiatives within a client's Power Platform landscape. The architect shapes secure, scalable and supportable solutions across Microsoft Power Platform, Azure and connected enterprise systems, translating business capabilities and non-functional requirements into end-to-end architectures and guiding delivery teams from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architectures for Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, Azure services and external integrations, defining solution boundaries, data models, integration patterns, security concepts and environment strategies.
• Guide decisions between configuration, low-code and custom development, including React, PCF and Azure components.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, identity, data protection, ALM and operational support requirements.
• Lead architecture reviews, document decisions, manage technical risks and dependencies, and coach developers on designs, code approaches and deployments.
• Support estimation, backlog refinement and delivery planning with product owners and engineering teams, and provide technical leadership during critical releases and root-cause analysis.

Required profile

• 8+ years of solution design or software engineering experience, including substantial enterprise Power Platform architecture experience.
• Proven design of production solutions across multiple applications, environments and integration endpoints.
• Ability to define and assess non-functional requirements such as security, performance, availability, supportability and compliance.
• Experience facilitating architecture decisions with technical and business stakeholders, and professional English with strong written documentation skills.
• Preferred: distributed or nearshore development experience.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Dataverse, security roles, identity, data modelling, integration and API patterns.
• Managed solutions, environment strategy, source control and Azure DevOps-based ALM.
• Preferred: Power Platform or Azure architecture certifications (e.g. PL-600), React, PCF controls, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Copilot Studio, AI Builder and event-driven integration.
