Pre‑Sales Engineer – ELV Systems

About the role

Protech is seeking a Pre‑Sales Engineer specialized in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems to join its team in Mokattam, Cairo. You will act as the technical bridge between sales and engineering, ensuring proposals meet client requirements and align with company capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Study RFQs and project specifications to develop accurate technical and financial offers.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, including Bill of Quantities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal sales teams to gather product information and pricing.
• Attend technical meetings and provide on‑site support when required.
• Offer continuous technical assistance to the sales department throughout the sales cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Communications, Mechatronics or a related engineering field.
• 2–3 years of experience working with ELV and security systems.
• Proven ability to review tender documents and BOQs.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Access Control, CCTV, Gate Barriers, Automatic Doors, Parking Management and Intrusion & Security Systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and design.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
